Pre & Post Plasma Fibroblast Skincare Guide
Like many other skin rejuvenation treatments, the plasma fibroblast method has some side effects. However, it delivers exceptional results with less downtime compared to other advanced treatments.
Proper skin preparation before the procedure and diligent aftercare contribute to 50% of the treatment’s success. Clients must strictly follow skincare instructions—especially post-treatment care—to achieve the best results.
Before Plasma Fibroblast Treatment
1. Sun Exposure & Tanning
• Avoid sunbathing and stop using tanning supplements for 3–4 weeks before treatment.
• Use sunscreen (SPF 30–50) for 2–4 weeks before treatment, especially for darker skin types.
2. Skin Treatments & Active Ingredients
• Avoid any treatments that peel or damage the skin (e.g., laser treatments, chemical peels) for at least 90 days before plasma fibroblast on the same area.
• Stop using active skincare products containing acids (e.g., retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid) 14 days before treatment.
• Discontinue microneedling and PRP treatments 2–3 weeks before treatment.
3. Other Aesthetic Procedures
• Wait at least 2–3 weeks after Botox or filler injections before undergoing plasma fibroblast.
• If treating a surgical scar, wait 9–12 months post-surgery before proceeding.
4. Pre-Treatment Skincare & Supplements
• Clients with Fitzpatrick skin type 3 and above should use hydroquinone for 3–4 weeks before treatment to prevent pigmentation issues.
• Maintain a daily skincare routine to strengthen the skin before treatment.
• Increase vitamin C intake for at least 3 months before and after treatment.
• Prioritize a healthy diet, good hydration, and sufficient sleep to support skin healing.
5. Additional Instructions
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing to prevent rubbing on the treated area (e.g., opt for a dress instead of tight jeans if treating the abdomen).
• No makeup, contact lenses, or false eyelashes for treatments around the eye area.
Aftercare for Plasma Fibroblast Treatment
1. Expected Downtime & Healing Timeline
• Clients can resume daily activities, but the appearance of scabs may make some feel self-conscious.
• Swelling typically subsides by Day 4, though smokers may take longer to heal.
• Scabs usually fall off between Days 5–10, depending on the treated area and individual skin healing.
2. First 8 Hours After Treatment
• Apply Nanozelle serum 1–2 times daily until healing is complete.
• The treated area may appear red with small dots and feel like a mild sunburn, which should subside within 3–24 hours.
• Swelling may start at the end of the day or the following day—apply a cold compress every 2–3 hours to reduce it.
• Avoid sun exposure and heat (e.g., saunas, steam rooms, hot showers) to prevent hyperpigmentation.
• Keep the area as dry as possible.
3. 8–48 Hours After Treatment
• This is the peak swelling period, and some people may experience lymph fluid around the scabs, especially in the morning.
• Do not touch the treated area to prevent infection—always wash hands thoroughly before applying any product.
• Swelling is a natural part of the healing process—do not take antibiotics to reduce it, as this may hinder collagen and elastin production.
• Avoid makeup, skincare products, and sunscreen on the treated area until all scabs have fallen off.
• Avoid exercise and sweating as this can worsen swelling and slow healing.
• Clean the area gently with cold water morning and night (avoid harsh cleansers with glycolic, lactic, or AHA acids).
• Sleep on your back if the treatment is on the face or abdomen.
4. Days 4–5 After Treatment
• Scabs begin to dry and darken; some swelling may persist.
• Avoid sun exposure entirely.
• Do not scratch, rub, or pick at scabs—this can lead to scarring and hyperpigmentation.
• The treated area may feel tight, dry, and itchy—this is normal.
• Once scabs have fully dried, start using a moisturizer containing Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to support healing.
5. Days 7–14 After Treatment
• After scabs fall off, new skin will appear light pink—this phase is crucial for preventing hyperpigmentation.
• Apply SPF 50+ sunscreen daily, even indoors, and reapply every 4–5 hours.
• Take sun protection pills before going outdoors.
• Wear a hat and sunglasses when outside.
• Continue using HA cream and B5 serum to help the skin recover.
• Avoid alcohol, as it may cause burning sensations in the skin.
• Be aware that artificial light (TV, phone, laptop, etc.) can also contribute to hyperpigmentation—protect the skin accordingly.
6. Healing Stage (Day 14–12 Weeks)
• The treated area will look new and healthier than surrounding skin.
• Some clients may require a follow-up session at 8–12 weeks for optimal results.
• Smoking, alcohol, and sun exposure can slow healing—avoid them as much as possible.
• Avoid skincare products containing glycolic acid, retinol, salicylic acid, or exfoliating agents during this time.
• No invasive skin treatments on the same area for at least 3 months.
• Vitamin C serum (15–20% L-Ascorbic Acid) is most effective but may cause sensitivity if used too soon.
Maintaining Results After Plasma Fibroblast
• Follow a healthy diet rich in vitamins and minerals—poor habits like smoking, drinking, and lack of sleep can negatively impact results.
• Always use sunscreen SPF 50+, as sun exposure destroys collagen, dehydrates skin, and causes hyperpigmentation.
• Maintain consistent skincare, including hydration and sun protection, to keep skin smooth and youthful.
By following these guidelines, clients can maximize the benefits of plasma fibroblast treatment and achieve long-lasting results.
